The facility includes two gymnasiums, locker rooms, a 25-meter pool and a diving well, racquetball courts, archery range, children's room, weight room with Cybex machines, a rock climbing wall, and a dance studio. Meeting rooms are also available for rent.
Greeley Senior Activity Center - 970-350-9440 - 1010 6th Avenue, Greeley
The varied and interesting programs include travel tours, nutrition programs, general interest classes, sports events, billiards and shuffleboard. The Greeley Senior Center provides the only Colorado qualifying site for the National Senior Games.

The short-grass prairie spans 193,000 acres. Opportunities for recreation, wildlife study, sightseeing, photography and bird watching abound. This area, which is home to over 290 species, is nationally known to bird watchers. The Pawnee Buttes tower 250 feet above the prairie and are a popular destination for hikers, horseback riders and day-trippers. Due to the intermingling of private and public land, a Pawnee Grassland map is recommended for planning your trip. Many roads become impassable when wet.
Rocky Mountain National Park
Call 303-586-1206 or 303-586-1311 for recorded road and weather information. Rocky Mountain National Park features lush alpine meadows and tundra, cascading mountain streams and wildlife including moose, elk and deer. Approximately 50 miles west of Greeley on US 34.

The Great Pikes Peak Birding Trail, with over 600+ birding community members, will help you find the best places for the best bird watching in the Centennial State. It features sites for birders, novice to expert, to find our feathered friends in every season. Interactive site maps feature slideshows of all sites and birds typically found along their routes, plus descriptions of habitat, access, and when to go.
