Greeley has an incredibly large and diverse offering of arts and cultural events, sponsored by a variety of public and private entities. From a variety of top-notch local artists to national and worldwide productions, patrons of every kind of art will find their passion. While many of the performances offered in Greeley are family friendly, there are a number of children's events and historical programs available. You’ll also find a number of festivals throughout the year.

With more than 30 parks, and six outdoor sports complexes, Greeley has plenty of space devoted to playgrounds, ball fields and bike trails. We also have some of the best golfing in the state.

Greeley boasts three public libraries that are a part of the High Plains Library District. The HPLD consists of 5 branch libraries and 6 member libraries located throughout Northern Colorado. These libraries offer a wide variety of programs, from storytimes to children, to computer classes and book clubs - not to mention their huge collections of Books, Movies and CDs!

Join us for the 2010 High Plains Chautauqua (HPC), a unique blend of theatre, history and the humanities under a Chautauqua tent. Audiences will meet and engage in a conversation with personalities from the past. The August 3-7, 2010 HPC, theme is "American Voices: Breaking the Mold."
