The Village contains 32 structures depicting the architecture, lifestyle and people of northeastern Colorado between 1860 and 1920. It also contains lush gardens and walkways. There are various programs, classes, living history demonstrations, and several festivals throughout the season which highlight life on the Colorado high plains. Open mid-April to mid-October, Tuesday-Saturday. Hours are from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Admission is $5.00 for ages 12-59, $4.00 age 60 and above, $3.00 for ages 6-11. Ages 5 and under are free. The Village is open free to the public one Saturday of each month, except September. Group Rate is $4.00 per person.

The cemetery was established in 1874 and sits on 65 acres. It has a long and storied past. Guided historical and memorial art tours can be arranged for groups of ten or more. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to enjoy the beautiful grounds and reflect on the beauty of life and those whose lives have been woven into the fabric of Northern Colorado. Free. 10-15 people per group tour, self-guided tours also available.

Based on a survey conducted by the Historic Preservation Commission several sites, buildings, and structures became eligible for designation to the Greeley Historic Register. This walking tour includes the first seven properties nominated to the Greeley Historic Register, representing a broad spectrum of Greeley's past. Come and explore Greeley's historic neighborhoods.

G.M. Houston Gardens

The gardens were developed to commemorate the Union Colony pioneers who visualized the effect mountain irrigation water would have in greening of the "Great American Desert". Take a short walk along the paved trail through the beautiful grounds and learn about the plants and trees representing four of the five life zones existing in Colorado. Houston Gardens is listed on the Colorado Historic Register. The beautiful setting is used for weddings and receptions, garden fairs, and is famous for its many varieties of day lilies. Plumb Farm Learning Center

Civil War veteran Charles White acquired 160 acres of land in 1881 as a tree claim. The farm sits on 2 1/2 acres of the original claim. The Plumb family moved to the farm in 1923 and lived there until 1997. A variety of agricultural programs and classes are available. Open April Through December for special events.

Lee Maxwell's museum has grown to 978 washing machines at last count, which he has restored to their original glory: rich woods, gleaming copper and shiny enamels. He is in the Guinness Book of Records and has written his own book entitled "Save Women's Lives, History of Washing Machines." Call for your personal tour or group and enjoy some "good clean fun."

Michener Library houses a collection of gladiolus literature from throughout the world, and honors both outstanding gladiolus varieties and persons who have notably contributed to the gladiolus culture.
